Saint Michael Episcopal School offers a number of different Enrichments and will be assigned by class. See descriptions below.
This enrichment is taught by coaches from Soccer Palz. Soccer Palz introduces and reinforces the skills of the game in a fun way!
Mr. Donavan helps build confidence and life skills through physical development, specializing in: motor development, physical coordination, strength and agility, and sports skills. It’s the fun way to get moving! Classes are led by an Mr. Donavan, who is an enthusiastic instructor who will mentor your child through fun, healthy, and enriching physical activity programs. Each day will have a different movement and skill set focus.
Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop, jazz, and ballet while developing coordination and balance. Instructors inspire a passion for dance and foster self-expression through movement. This enrichment is taught by Stretch-n-Grow.
TENNIS AND GOLF
This Tennis and Golf Enrichment is taught by Kidokinetics. Coaches will spend half of the semester on each sport as Preschoolers learn the skills and drills associated with each. Kidokinetics classes are designed to provide fun, healthy exercise, games, nutrition and sports activities. The focus of each activity is to create a varied, fun session each day and using the sport activity to build skills relating to gross motor, right/left brain stimulation, forward/backward movement, crossing the mid-line, coordination and self-confidence. Kidokinetics’ fun fitness coaches bring the great curriculum and the children bring the fun!
Students will explore simple yoga poses with songs, props, and stories. Our creative curriculum will facilitate increasing student's endurance, concentration, and confidence! This new enrichment will be taught by Stretch-n-Grow.

Cosmic Capers is a creative drama class that uses improvisation and characterization to guide students as they build their personalized drama skills. Through the fun-filled process of imaginative play, players become comfortable and courageous. Improvised drama is considered an essential component to developing social and emotional intelligence, and language skills in young students. The skills they learn today will be part of how they meet the challenges of tomorrow.
CREATE WITH STEAM
Join Studio Bella each week as we fearlessly create with steAm (science, technology, engineering ART and math!) Each week, students will create a project or process revolving around art and have 1-2 other fields fused into the fun! This new enrichment will be taught by Studio Bella who originated in Dallas and is 12 years strong!
FUN FINE MOTOR FRIDAY (NEW!)– PreK 4 full-day classes only
Fun Fine Motor Friday is taught by one of our very own SMES teachers. Ms. Laura brings together new, hands-on experiences to further develop and strengthen students’ small muscles needed for hand strength, pencil grip and writing skills. Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of creative and engaging activities from making play-dough to sewing and lacing to Light Bright creations!
