Under the Sea – June 6-9
Join Ms. Bettina as we explore the beautiful and fascinating underwater world of the ocean! Campers will learn about various sea creatures through books, songs, games, and sensory play at our “ocean” and “beach” exploration station. They will also make jellyfish, seahorses, and other amazing sea animals using fun art processes.
Fun Fine Motor – June 13-16
Join Ms. Laura for a fun filled week of hands-on experiences to help develop and strengthen students’ small muscles needed for hand strength, pencil grip and writing skills. Campers will explore a variety of fun and creative activities all week!
SMES Under Construction – June 20-23
It is the perfect time to learn about tools and construction vehicles since we have a giant construction site right next door! Campers will make their own hard hats, investigate tools, and then create and build 2D and 3D art using various materials in our “construction site!” Ms. Bettina will lead this new and exciting camp!
Marvelously Messy Art – June 27-30
Campers will create group masterpieces and individual art projects during this fun and marvelously messy week. We will use preschool art processes such as painting with spray bottles, outdoor splatter painting, use feathers to paint with watercolors, and of course finger painting!
The World of Eric Carle – July 11-14
For over 40 years, Eric Carle wrote and illustrated wonderful children’s books. Join Ms. Bettina this week as she shares some of Eric Carle’s classic stories while campers illustrate them through fun and different art processes, and then go more in-depth with games and movement activities.
STEAM Ahead Through the Bible – July 18-21
Join Ms. Carol for this fun, hands-on camp as we continue to share familiar Bible
stories using science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The Bible
stories for this year are about Noah and the animals, Abraham and the stars and Joseph and colors.
Camp Tiny Muscles – July 25-28
Join Ms. Carol for a week of fun with activities to exercise our tiny finger muscles and further develop our fine motor skills. Campers will experience sensory play, gadgets, scissors, finger plays, and much more!
